Optimum health and fitness are quite difficult to maintain but it’s not impossible. Today, I’ll be sharing 5 kick-ass and meaningful health goals for 2018.

It’s important to have a well-planned objective in life for achieving success. Health goals can be short-term or long-term depending on the situation. I recommend everyone to make few short-term goals and stick to them until their completion. A long-term goal is often accompanied by many short-term goals.

It’s better to explore yourself in a tough situation and observe your weak points. Work hard on your weak points systematically to achieve your goal.

Now it’s time to buckle up your belts and start planning some realistic health goals for 2018.

5 Kick-Ass Health Goals for 2018

Running for Health

I’ve covered many topics about running because of its importance. Make your first goal – running. 1. Healthy Eating

Healthy eating for maintaining health

Healthy eating is necessary for everyone especially teenagers. A healthy diet includes sufficient vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, protein and little fat. Vitamins, fibers, and minerals are present in abundant quantity in fresh fruits that should be consumed before a meal as fruits act as roughage which helps to clean esophagus (food pipe). Eat breakfast with rich carbohydrates that act as an energy booster for the whole day. Protein is ultimately necessary for your body growth. Protein can be consumed in form of milk, eggs, meat, beef, chicken or cereals.

I personally recommend everyone to drink one glass Amla or Aloe vera juice daily in the morning as it has countless benefits for your immunity.

Ample water consumption for maintaining health

This can be your third important goal. Our body is made up of 70% water and we can’t ignore this fact. Water is magical for overall smooth body functioning. It’s a vital habit to drink enough water for satisfying our body needs. Now the question comes how much water our body needs?

Well, you should drink at least 3 liters (10 glasses) of water irrespective of your age. How and when you are drinking water is also very significant. This statement is well explained in three points below:

  • Drink 500 ml – 1 liter of water daily just after waking up in morning.
  • Drink a glass of lukewarm water after 45 minutes of every meal you eat.
  • Always drink water in sitting position
